Suicide Prevention Handbook for Religious Leaders

When someone is struggling, the first person they call is often not a doctor. It is a religious leader. The Inter Religious Council of Kenya, together with the Ministry of Health, has launched the Suicide Prevention Handbook for Religious Leaders to prepare faith leaders for that sacred responsibility.

The handbook equips leaders to recognise warning signs, respond in a crisis, walk with families after loss, refer to professional care, and care for themselves.
