This report documents the work of the National Peace and Mediation Team (NPMT), a panel of eminent Kenyans for which IRCK served as Secretariat. It traces the team’s visits to flagged counties, its interfaith prayer and peace advocacy, and the shuttle diplomacy religious leaders undertook with political leaders and IEBC commissioners after the disputed presidential results. It also presents findings from the Situation Room, including monitored cases of violence against women, and offers sixteen practical recommendations for building early, credible and inclusive mediation ahead of future elections in Kenya.
