The Inter-Religious Council of Kenya supported by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints launched the Kanamkemer Primary School construction project in County Government of Turkana. IRCK in collaboration with government agencies and key stakeholders is responding to glaring gaps in the social sectors such as education.
IRCK and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints came together to strategically close gaps identified through the Social Intelligence Reporting Initiative, with the two organization initiating processes of providing classrooms, toilets, desks, water tanks and other crucial amenities.
The e-SIR process intends to catalyze realization of the Sustainable Development Goals; which has seen community members holding duty bearers accountable to ensure efficient service delivery at the counties.
