The Inter-Religious Council of Kenya was privileged to participate in the first Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting for the Peacebuilding and Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE) in East Africa Programme, chaired by Dr. Raymond Omollo, Principal Secretary for Ministry of Interior and National Administration.
The project is a critical and timely intervention toward fostering inclusive multistakeholder collaboration between civil society, private sector, and the government to build community and institutional resilience and enhance early warning and response in Preventing Violent Extremism in East Africa.
