The CS acknowledged that addressing climate change and taking action is a collaborative action which needs multi-stakeholder involvement and that Religious Leaders have a role in calling their congregants to join in planting trees.
They discussed a framework for collaboration between the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change & Forestry and Religious Leaders. The use of congregational platforms; and messaging to call for climate action. This is through the IRCK #ReclaimOurGreen initiative by the Environment and Climate Change program.
